Hey, I’m Fermin.
A proud resident of Oroville for many years. I founded Serranos out of my passion for authentic Mexican cuisine and my love for serving the community. For me, it’s about more than just tacos — it’s about creating connections and sharing the flavors I grew up with.
My goal is to deliver exceptional food and friendly service with a personal touch, because Oroville is more than where I work — it’s where I live, raise my family, and call home.
Our story
It started with the food we missed.
Serranos started with a love for great food and a passion for sharing authentic Mexican flavors. Our mission is to serve Oroville fresh, delicious tacos made with family recipes and the finest ingredients. Every taco is crafted with care to bring you the perfect bite every time.
That is the whole business plan, and it has not changed. Press the tortillas fresh. Make the salsas ourselves. Cook it when it is ordered. Be somewhere findable, every single day.

How we work
Four things we will not do.
Three distinct salsas, made in-house, at different heat levels. It is the part of the plate people remember, so it is not the part to outsource.
We are a community business in Oroville. Keeping the food affordable for the people who live here is the point, not an afterthought.
