Do I need a ticket to eat from the truck at an event?
No — the truck is walk-up. Some venues on our schedule (the Brownsville Blues Festival, Mountain to Meadows) charge their own admission to get in, but once you are there you just come to the window.
What happens at Las Plumas if it is too hot?
That service gets cancelled for the day. It is an outdoor lunch service and there is a point where it is not safe or sensible to run it, so we call it off and post the change on Facebook.
Why are private events on the list?
So you can see when the truck is already booked. Those are weddings we are catering, not public dates — if you are looking at a similar date for your own event, that tells you to call sooner rather than later.
Is the daily truck service still running during event season?
Yes. We are out 11:00am – 7:00pm, seven days a week, all year. The event schedule is on top of that — but when the truck is booked for a festival, that is where it will be that day.
How do I get the truck at my event?
Call or text (530) 370-1844 with the date, headcount and location — that is the fastest route for events. You can also start an order on our contact page and put the event details in the special requests box. Quotes are free.
